About Nancy Bailey

Nancy Bailey has many years of experience both as an educator of young children and an entertainer who causes giggles and guffaws. With a B.A. and Diploma in Early Childhood Education Nancy has taught children under 6 in preschools and child care centres for over 20 years. And since 1983 Nancy has delighted children of all ages with her clowning, puppetry, magic, balloons, stories and juggling.

She was trained at The Nadine Rogers School of Clowning, by Brenda Marshall in Gospel Clowning, at Clown Camp Canada, Advanced Studies in the Performance Art of Clowning, Clown Fun Calgary, Northwest Festival of Clowns and the World Clown Convention.

She is a member of the The Association of Accredited Clowns, The World Clown Association, Clowns of America International, Vancouver Society of Storytellers, Bump-A-Nose Clown Alley; and is past president and current secretary of Raincoast Clown Troupe.

Nancy, along with members of her Raincoast Clown Troupe, won Clown Idol at Clown Fun Calgary ’08 and were runners-up in ’09.

Nancy also has Insurance Coverage for anytime she performs and a clear Criminal Record Check.
